Ms. Vaisshali Babu has assumed office as the Managing Director & CEO, Indian Clearing Corporation Limited (ICCL) effective 1st January 2024.

Ms. Vaisshali Babu has been working as a Chief Operating Officer at ICCL from December 01, 2022. She is a capital market veteran with overall capital market experience of above 30 years spread across various functions like Product Management, Relationship Management, Risk Management, Operations, Business Development etc. Prior to joining ICCL, she has held several positions including leadership roles in BNP Paribas, BoFA (Merryl Lynch), State Street, Stock Holding Corporation, United India Insurance Co. and Bombay Port Trust. Her area of expertise is in clearing house operations, custodian business, products and relationship management, operations management, project management including risk, compliance and audit.

Vaisshali holds a master’s degree in commerce from Mumbai University with a Business Administration qualification from Symbiosis. She has credentials of executive programmes from IIM Bangalore, IIM Rohtak and IIM Calcutta and is member of Institute of Directors. She was recognised as “India’s top 100 women in Finance” by AIWMI in 2019 and awarded “Best in Custody” at the Women in Finance Asia Awards in 2022.

Mr. Sandesh Sawant is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Indian Clearing Corporation Ltd. (ICCL), effective 24th February 2025.

He has vast experience in financial and regulatory reporting, change and stakeholder management, treasury, MIS, and technology & process management for the finance function. During this tenure he has managed business reporting for Investment Banking, Institutional Equities, Wealth Management & AMC.

He has 25 years of rich experience in the financial sector across MNCs & Indian corporates. Prior to joining ICCL, he has worked with Edelweiss Financial Services Group (now Nuvama), Credit Suisse Group, HSBC Group, Deutsche Bank and Deloitte. In his last assignment, he was acting as Group CFO at Equirus Capital.

He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary and holds a diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Ms. Anita Bhatia is the Chief Regulatory & Compliance Officer at Indian Clearing Corporation Ltd. (ICCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of BSE. She is responsible for regulatory functions (Compliance, Membership, Secretarial etc.) at ICCL.

She has over 30 years of diverse experience in financial services across MNCs and Indian corporates. Prior to joining ICCL, she has held several positions with NSDL, Bank of America, Credit Suisse and others. In her previous assignments, she has held leadership roles in areas of GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance), Audit, Legal, Inspection, Operations, Training & Investor Relations.

Anita holds a master’s degree in commerce from Mumbai University with a Master’s in Financial Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies.

Mr. Sushant Majhi is the Chief Risk Officer at Indian Clearing Corporation Ltd (ICCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of BSE.

He has over 16 years of diverse experience across NBFCs, Investment Banks, and Hedge Funds. His area of expertise is Market Risk and Quantitative Analysis. He has rich experience in conceptualizing tailored risk solutions for Hedge Funds and ensuring compliance with investor and regulatory risk requirements.

Prior to ICCL, he was leading the Risk & Portfolio Analytics services of Linedata Gravitas, following stints in the Strategic Risk Management division of Credit Suisse and the Global Risk Group of Edelweiss Financial Services.

Educationally, Mr. Sushant holds a Post-Graduate degree in Business Management and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering. He is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) by GARP and holds the Professional Risk Manager (PRM) designation from the Professional Risk Managers' International Association. Beyond his professional commitments, Mr. Sushant actively shares his knowledge as a visiting faculty, imparting insights on subjects such as Valuation and Financial Risk Management to MBA students.

Mr. Akshat Chaturvedi is the Head Of Operation at Indian Clearing Corporation Ltd (ICCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of BSE.

He will be managing Clearing & Settlement and Mutual Fund (BSE Star MF) Settlements. He has over 23 years of diverse experience across Banking, Investment Bank, Commodity Exchange, Fixed Income & NBFCs. His area of expertise is Clearing house operations, relationship management, operations management, regulatory compliance & audit. Prior to ICCL,

he was working with Julius Baer, India following stints in the Merrill Lynch, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, NCDEX & ICICI Bank. Educationally, Mr. Akshat holds a post-graduate degree in Business Management, Bachelor Honors degree in Commerce from Delhi University & Advance Diploma in Strategic Management from IIM-C.

Mr. Bharat Elwe has joined as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Indian Clearing Corporation Ltd (ICCL).

With over 23 years of experience in creating and managing big data solutions, he has consistently demonstrated his ability to drive growth, optimize operations, and innovate. His expertise spans across AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud technologies, showcasing his versatility and deep understanding of modern technological landscapes. His strong track record includes successfully implementing solutions and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering from Mumbai University.

Mr. Gurpreet Singh Bansal is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Indian Clearing Corporation Ltd. (ICCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of BSE.

With over 13+ years of experience in Cyber Security function, Mr. Gurpreet Singh Bansal possesses a profound understanding of the dynamic and ever-changing cybersecurity landscape, enabling him to anticipate and mitigate emerging threats effectively.

At ICCL, he is responsible for orchestrating and executing our cybersecurity initiatives and strategies, ensuring that our organization remains secure and resilient against evolving threats.

Mr. Gurpreet Singh Bansal holds Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from Mumbai University and is certified in industry-leading cybersecurity certifications such as CISA, CISM, CIRSC, ISO27001 Lead Auditor and Data Privacy lead Accessor.
